Expertise: People Management, Business Transformation, Change Management

Helga has worked nationally and internationally in the domain of human resource management and change management, creativity training, group dynamics and organisational learning. She is a seasoned and experienced lecturer and trainer. Her interest is in the person behind the role as much as in his/her learning experience and she works in her lectures and workshops with interactive techniques in order to accelerate learning experiences and encourage the use of multiple intelligences by participants.

In the past she was a manager in a strategic business unit of a world wide publisher and prior to that she worked as an internal consultant for a Telecom company. She has led major management development projects for Dutch government and developed numerous workshops and international training programs. Last year she was the process manager in the general management program of a world wide working Dutch production company.

Helga teaches and trains on HR subjects, business transformation, negotiation skills, innovative teams and the bridging of cross-cultural differences in business environments. She has written articles on team development, group dynamics, behavioural and social skills, creative thinking and related topics and presented at international conferences on these subjects. A psychologist by training, she received her PhD degree in 1999 on a research project on 'Leadership and Team Development in Innovative Teams', which is published by Eburon (Delft, 2000).

On a tailor made basis Helga works with individual clients as a life-coach and executive coach. She is a certified practitioner of IRC, MBTI and other psychometric instruments and an associate member of the European Coaching Institute. As a coach she adheres to the ethical code of the International Coach Federation.

Helga has worked with IBI since 2004 and will support their coaching program from 2007 onwards.
